Richmond, Virginia
Built for the Shriners in 1926, the theater and events complex was designed in the Moorish Revival architectural style with an Egyptian inspired grand ballroom, terra cotta details and decorative tile work. As part of Wilson Butler Architects’ complete renovation and restoration, Cajolet Design was asked to design the wayfinding and donor recognition to elevate the theater-goer's experience and recognize the charitable gifts that made the project possible.
In the framework of the implementation of the new brand and building identity the new electronic marquee takes advantage of the latest technology and brings a modern touch to the historic theater.
Role: Design / project management of brand implementation, wayfinding and donor recognition.
Client: Richmond CenterStage Foundation
Architect: Wilson Butler Architects
